Urban Wellness Massage is a Healing Stones Treatment, an investment in your health.  Give yourself this necessary time to do nothing, simply lie in a state of extended savasana (relaxation pose) while I take care of you.  Urban Wellness' signature healing stones are hand-picked Basalt from the riverbeds of the Rocky Mountains.  Basalt stones are cooled volcanic flow, which have a memory of once being very hot.  Therapists use Basalt to keep proper temperatures; the stones from our Smokies are far to porous and lose heat too quickly.  Stones are placed on the back and front to warm up the tissue; and used during the massage to increase circulation.
